VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
A working HIV vaccine which could prevent transmission of the virus has not yet been discovered. But with your help one can be! Vaccine research needs volunteers to donate their time and bodies to the cause. If you want to do something to help end the threat of HIV in this world, one alternative is to volunteer for a vaccine trial.
New science is working to create vaccines which cannot infect you with the virus, but which can create the antibodies to HIV necessary in preventing infection. In many cases, you will be paid a small gratuity for your participation.
The links listed below are to the most recent vaccine trials we know of. Please contact them for further information.

If you live in or near San Francisco, or travel to SF frequently, you can be a participant in the SF Is Ready HIV vaccine trials. added June 07, 2005
