A short-lisr of healthier barebacking practices<br clear=

HIV Prevention is not entirely "wrapped up" in condoms. The following is a list of behaviors we strongly recommend to keep you and your partners healthy!

1) Get Tested
Knowing whether you do or do not have HIV is crucial in any safer barebacking plan. One test every 6 months is the standard, but we recommend you get tested every few weeks to 6 months depending on how slutty you are. Modern HIV tests are quick and painless. Some don't require giving blood, and results can be had in 20 minutes. If you believe you are HIV-Negative, get tested and be sure! Not knowing your HIV status is reckless.
2) Practice Sero-Sorting
Sero-sorting is the act of choosing sex partners who share the same HIV status as yourself. The best known way of preventing the transmission of HIV is to sero-sort. If you and your partners are the same HIV status, no new infections can occur. Everyone can sero-sort, regardless of their HIV status. So get tested, then start practicing sero-sorting when choosing your sex partners! That's responsible!
3) Avoid Crystal Meth
Crystal meth use is a factor in the majority of new HIV infections. Not only is the drug toxic to your body and your brain, but its psychological effects allow you to behave in ways you wouldn't consider if you weren't on the drug. It is not only wise to stay away from crystal meth, it is also wise to stay away from those who use the drug. Meth users are statistically more likely to engage in reckless sexual behavior and less likely to get tested for HIV or other STD's, or be honest with you about their status. Avoiding meth and those who use it is a good way to stay sexually healthy.
4) Never take a load from someone you do not trust
Sure, load sharing is fun, but it is also very risky if you do not know your partner. The safest barebacking occurs between partners in a committed monogamous relationship. But if you're not there yet, you can try to find a trustworthy fuckbuddy with whom you can agree to monogamously share the intimacy of bareback sex. Just remember that YOU are responsible for anything you let into your body, or for putting yourself into situations where the transmission of HIV and other STD's is possible. Nobody gives you HIV. You acquire it based on your actions. So bareback wisely. Be selective about your partners, and never take a load from someone you do not trust!
